Legit Vee Jay pressing matching this version. Not a counterfeit. Disc has scuffs & scratches but nothing severe. Plays through well w/ some background noise but nothing distracting. Very strong VG sleeve w/ some rub wear. Seams in good shape.

Label catalog number printed on the labels: "VJLP 1062" Distinguishing characteristics: Jacket: - Shadow behind George Harrison on front cover; - Track List printed in two columns on back cover; - "Please, Please Me" printed with comma on back cover and record label, the second 'Please' type is slightly off-centre; - 2nd sleeve printing [Uncredited] by Ivy Hill Lithograph Co. - Semi-gloss finish on both sides. - 1/4 inch overlap top and bottom on inside of cover. Inner sleeve: - red sleeve listing other VJ releases. Labels: - Large red oval encompassing the words Vee Jay separated by a G Clef; - Rainbow-colored ring encircles the perimeter; - "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES" printed centered below Vee Jay emblem - "THE BEATLES" printed centered below album title. - Deep groove inner ring circling most of the letters except part of the last track details on each side.
